Summer Camp 2

Youth Camp: July 28 – August 1

We would like to ask for your prayer. Over the next few weeks please join with us in praying for God’s will at this week-long camp.

Prayer Points: Supernatural – Rebecca and I have an unusual stirring to pray for supernatural answers to prayer.

  • Healing of physical problems. Be specific. Diabetes, broken bones, chronic problems, skin disease, eating disorders, and other issues.
  • Healing of soul (mind, will, emotions) problems. Let’s agree for God to heal depression, suicidal tendencies, cutting, insecurities, arrogance, bad soul ties (bad relationships), learning disabilities, unhealthy use of ADHD medications, and bad theology that limits God.
  • Healing of spiritual problems. Let’s pray for break through for people who struggle with getting closer the God, growing in reading the Word, and slow growth in prayer.

For us, this burden for supernatural breakthrough for individuals at this camp is neither cliché nor usual. We believe that we are supposed to rally a prayer cry for something unusual to happen at this camp.

Please take at least 15 minutes this week to join us in prayer, whenever you are able. Thanks!

Pray for this summer.

Youth Camp: July 28 – August 1
Sunday at The House of Prayer: July 27
Sunday at Christian Life Worship Center: August 3

Rebecca and I are very happy to be returning to The House of Prayer in Richmond, VA. They’ve invited us to come and speak at the summer youth camp. A number of other youth groups will be there. In all, there should be around 250 people there.

We would like to ask for your prayer. Over the next few weeks please join with us in praying for God’s will at this week-long camp. The Sunday dates listed above I will also be speaking.

We will post a few times over the next few weeks. There are a few things we are believing for.

The them for the camp is John 15:13
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. NIV
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. NLT
This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends. Message

In preparation, I would like to share the Scripture below with you. It really speaks to how we have already been praying for the camp. Please take a minute to read over it. Our hope is that it would help you to connect with our burden for this camp.

Colossians 1:9-14
9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified youb to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption,c the forgiveness of sins.” NIV

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for agreeing with us in prayer over the next few weeks.
